Vans

Surely the most famous skate brand in the world. From humble beginnings in 1966, Anaheim, California, Vans have become a leader in both skate shoe technology and casual streetwear.
Some of their original designs are still as popular and as wearable as when they were first introduced over 30 years ago. The Old Skool, Half Cab, Era, Sk8-Hi and Authentic have been around for what seems like forever and are still going strong.
Their skate team is a who's who of skateboarding legends, Geoff Rowley, Steve Caballerro, Jeff Grosso, Tony Alva, Christian Hosoi, John Cardiel and some of the newest brightest talents, Chima Ferguson, Gilbert Crockett and Kyle Walker.
Vans have achieved what any brand would be envious of, managing to keep their core skateboard customers happy whilst at the same time creating shoes and designs universally popular.
Popular with artists of any medium Vans have done collaborations with some of the art worlds biggest names, as well as musicians such as Metallica, Slayer, Bad Brains, Motorhead and Kiss.
In the years since they first started they have branched out from skateboarding, now offering surf and snow wear as well, alongside a large collection of casual streetwear. It seems no matter what activity Vans can offer a stylish, dependable solution.
